Water Carrier
| As you can imagine, the exhilaration and excitement of Sealed Knot re-enactments is extreme and the water-carriers are a valuable part of the team which goes onto any battlefield. Water carriers can be male or female, and women acting in this role must wear standard soldier's uniform for safety reasons. Water carriers act as the eyes and ears at the rear of the unit where the Officers cannot see, they refresh the combatants with drinks and wipe sweaty brows to cool hot heads and if you are really lucky you might even be given a fruity sweet to sustain you in the fight! They really do spur on the unit with their care and banter and are a valuable asset to Lilburne's Regiment. When supporting the musket block, water carriers hold match when the soldiers engage in hand-to-hand fighting. |
