Non Combatants

For quite a number of people the idea of dressing-up in costume and taking an active role in something as unusual as re-enactment is quite a bizarre thought and not at all for them and this is absolutely fine! However, when the rest of the family want to take up hobbies such as this, the uninterested member either feels excluded if they attend the events or else they stay at home and miss out on having fun with their families - not in Lilburne's. As we keep saying - there is something for everyone in Lilburne's and as long as at least one member of the family unit takes an active role in the staging of the re-enactments then non-combatant members are welcome too! Quite often our non-combatants do a great deal of stalwart work "behind the scenes" back at the campsite and although this is actively encouraged, it is, by no means, compulsory.
