Membership Costs And Joining Information
Access to Sealed Knot events is by membership of the society only
All memberships are renewable annually by November 31st at the latest
ALL membership issues for Lieutenant-Colonel John Lilburne’s Regiment of Foote are dealt with by Mrs Ceridwen Copping (contact details below)
Membership costs for the 2008/9 season are as follows:

Anyone joining after 31st July each year is entitled to a half yearly rate for the remainder of that year.
Anyone between 18 and 25 years at the time of signing up is entitled to a Young Person’s discount.
Family membership covers two adults and an unlimited number of children.
Temporary membership entitles you to one weekend to try out the hobby If you then decide to join, the £10 fee is deducted from your membership costs. Only one Temporary membership per person is allowed within any three-year period.
The £4.00 Sealed Knot Admin fee is payable by all new members only (not those rejoining)
All cheques should be made payable to “The Sealed Knot Limited” and should have the number and expiry date details of your cheque guarantee card written on the back.

As a Member of the Sealed Knot:
You are entitled to attend every Sealed Knot event (unless it is specifically indicated otherwise in the society magazine)
You will receive the society magazine “The Order of the Daye” in which there is information about forthcoming events, debate on current topics under discussion within the society and articles about a variety of topics relating to C17th life and times
You will receive a Membership card which you will need to carry with you at all times at Sealed Knot events
You will receive a Sealed Knot Society Handbook which will give you all the current rules and regulations of the society
You will be covered by the society’s insurance at all advertised events.
When you join, we would ask you to please complete the gift aid form on the application sheet, as this will mean that when your application has been processed Lilburne’s Regiment will receive money from the society for the Regimental funds.
As a member of Lilburne’s Regiment:
You will receive a bi-monthly copy of the Regimental newsletter – “Li’l Bernie’s Shout” which keeps you up to date with everything that the Regiment is doing
You will receive copy of the “Welcome Pack”, which gives a guide to sealed knot musters and what you will need to bring, a who’s who in Lilburne’s, a copy of the regimental constitution and information and guidelines on costumes and roles which you can assume along with a brief history of John Lilburne’s life and career
You will receive an up to date address list of the regimental members
